TRIUMPH TR3

1957 TR3 RED
The TR was built to fill the gap between MG and Jaguar. Like those two legendary British sports cars, the majority of Triumph TRs produced were sold in the United States. The TR may have had the looks of a Bulldog and the engine of a Ferguson tractor but it dominated USAC Class E-Production racing and became wildly successful.

ASTON MARTIN DB5

Sean Connery is a fine actor but any car buff will tell you that the real star of the movie "Goldfinger" was the Aston Martin DB5. It was the first DB5, a Silverbirch prototype: DP216. It would become the "most famous car in the world" recognized by people who prior to seeing the movie wouldn't have known an  Aston Martin from a Purple Martin. The DB5 was in production from 1963-1965 with 898 having been built. The nearly 3500 pound DB5, powered by a 4.0 litre, 6 cylinder engine, had a top speed in excess of 140mph.
